Pre-Kindergarten

   Welcome to our Preschool Room, a vibrant and engaging environment designed to foster creativity, exploration, and academic growth. This classroom serves as a nurturing space where children ages 4-5 can thrive as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey.

   Our daily schedule incorporates a mix of structured activities, free play, and group time, allowing children to develop independence while learning essential routines. Consistent transitions help create a sense of security and predictability. In our Preschool Room, we focus on nurturing the whole child, providing a rich, stimulating environment that lays the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning.

   Teachers provide opportunities for children to explore centers in science, math, reading, creative art and music. Activities are created to develop the skills that will guide your child toward future academic success. Your child will be introduced to the concepts of 'cause and effect', cognitive skills like sequencing, matching, and social skills. Communication Arts skills are strongly developed through story telling, one on one and group conversations. Our Pre-K teachers work throughout the year with our school district and the kindergarten teachers to align our classroom objectives and structure in order to prepare our children for the upcoming school year.
